The January issue of the Day Star included a section about WUAS’ activities on the internet. There have been a number of new and exciting things happening in the past five months and we want to share a number of them with you.
We have continued to develop our worldwide web page. The most exciting development is the change in location of the web page. The Wake Up America home page is now located at https://www.wake-up.org.
A free Warning! book is offered to anyone that wishes to provide mailing information over the web. Since the home page was established, we have mailed books to Australia, Singapore, the Philippines, South Africa, Croatia, Namibia, Brazil, Chile, Ireland, the Netherlands, Romania, Tanzania and many people in Canada and the United States. We are very excited about this new avenue where the good news of Jesus’ return can be shared.
Current Day Star articles are also available on web pages. In fact, the articles are normally available on the web site up to two weeks before you receive your copy of the Day Star. So, if you cannot wait each month to read the Day Star, you can get a head start by accessing the worldwide web.
The internet also has a number of other capabilities that we are exploring. Two options being considered are based on reader interest:
Option 1 – Live Forum on either Internet Relay Chat or one of the on-line services.
The internet provides the capability to have real-time computer discussions on various subjects. If there is enough interest in this type of forum, we can develop a regular time that Larry Wilson would be available to respond to on-line questions or discuss relevant Biblical concepts.
Option 2 – An email distribution list for relevant information.
If there is enough interest, we will develop an email list of interested people that would like copies of WUAS materials over the internet. If you have an email address that can be accessed through the internet, we can provide these materials to you.
If you are interested in either of these options or have other ideas to use the internet more effectively, please use our contact page, or call the WUAS office at (513) 848-3322.
